The Don has donned a new tux for 2023, with CoConspirators Brewing's shadowy leader returning and this time, he’s switched the bottles for a can. Once again, the imperial stout has been hiding away in Starward whisky barrels and he’s been unveiled at an extravagant affair.
The decadent beer matches rich dark chocolate with molasses, caramel and tones of fortified wine that sits somewhere between Port and sherry. Give him a chance to warm up (although I've watched enough Sopranos to suggest maybe you shouldn't) and his boozier side builds into a sweet and warming layer with coffee and a bold bitterness.
