Beerfarm's collaboration with Sydney-based distillers Archie Rose and Perth retailer Mane Liquor is a refreshingly light citrus gose that leans heavily into the realm of gin and tonic disguised as beer.
Pouring a pale yellow with a quickly dissipating, loosely-beaded head, Botanical Citrus Gose gives off lime peel and freshly juiced lemon on the nose, with a touch of herbaceous character following closely. To taste, a sweet-sour profile carries layers of mixed citrus juice and zest with no pithy astringency to spoil the fun. A light and lively carbonation keep things light and effervescent, leading those fresh citrus flavours into a tight, clean finish.
Perfectly primed for spring and summer sipping, Botanical Citrus Gose is reminiscent of spritzy, citrusy cocktails, but lands at a much more sessionable (and affordable!) 4 percent ABV.
