When your brewery is located more than three hours from the nearest state capital in a town of give or take 2,000 people, you're going to rely on visitors dropping into the brewpub to supplement the support of locals and sales via venues and bottlos. It's a state of affairs that might explain why Noodledoof have been on a run of lower ABV releases since the new year began (it is summer too, of course).
Hot on the heels of a sub-4 percent ABV rice lager and an easy-going Schwarzbier comes an even lower ABV hazy session IPA. Not that you'd pick it as such. Sure, it's hazy as you could wish for, but the NZ Nectaron hops, supported by Aussie Galaxy, swirl within a body that would easily pass for a full-strength hazy pale.
The beer showcases the former's tropical-stonefruit characteristics to a tee, while there’s a bigger-than-session-ale bitterness and a bit of grip in keeping with the IPA tag. All in all, this is one to satisfy anyone looking to have more than one without sacrificing too much in the way of flavour.
