It's all a lie: Bodriggy Brewing’s Coupla Days took far more than a coupla days to make. The Czech Pilsner spent a good six weeks in tank and while that might sound mighty traditional, it spins a little more modern. That’s not because of the hops either, with the classic Saaz the sole flower here, but instead, it’s courtesy of how it was added, with the beer dip hopped with that noble hop.
But, if you’re a lover of tradition then fear not: there’s plenty of that here. There’s a breadiness to the malt base that’s akin to pulling a pretzel straight out of the oven, floral tones and a deft touch of orange zest. To top it all off, it pours a bright, vibrant golden and crystal-clear colour and stands firm with a substantial bitterness.
