I'm generally sceptical of IPAs that come in under 6 percent ABV. They’re like those tiny suitcases. Where’s the brewer going to put all the flavour?? It won't fit! But ‘Cliffe is a very tidy, well-packed suitcase with vacuum-sealed bags that help you organise and fit more in.
Your hops are there - all the Citra, Amarillo and Cascade you could want, serving up plenty of citrus peel, pine, a little resin. Your malt is there, giving toffee and caramel biscuit to die for. And your bitterness is tucked into the front pocket where it’s easily accessible so you don’t waste time trying to find it. It’s all very manageable and fits into the overhead compartment so you can take it as carry-on without the flight attendants judging you.*
As for the red… it’s really more of a hi vis orange. But hey, at least you’re not going to lose it on the baggage carousel!

*Wait. I said it was with you in carry-on. I’m rapidly losing control of this metaphor.
