The evolution of sessionable hazy beers continues, especially for the those, like Bright Tank, with a venue in which to entertain guests. Sure, tucking into a double digit ABV Link Juice can fun, but by the second or third glass the wheels may start to come off for even the most seasoned of hop-crazed, opacity chasers.
In response, the East Perth team have welcomed Bright Tank Hazy Pale Ale into their core range, but done so with a lesser-seen hop combo of Lemondrop and Zappa. In doing so, the brewing team delivers a discrete style expression. The pair come together in a vibrant and citrusy punch encompassing lemon, yellow grapefruit, pithy notes and bitterness, while some of Zappa’s mercurial tropical oddness lurks, along with a late resinous lick, amid the light haze.
