It's safe to say that if the brewers at Hop Nation aren't midway through making a hazy IPA then they're dreaming of their next one and for the moment, that "next one" is Big Tings. It's the kid of hazy that includes some of the brewery's all time favourite hops and advanced hop products, with Citra added in the form of both Incognito and Cryo, while Vic Secret, Nelson Sauvin and Talus all make the beer a true exploration of new world hops.
On the malt front meanwhile, Golden Promise, wheat, oats and the protein-heavy Chit malt lay the foundations for a lush, soft and cloudy beer where that hoppy combination can get to work. Together, that mix of hops brings tropical fruits, rockmelon, pineapple, resin and citrus on the shape of sweet, somewhat candy-like orange. It's the kind of ground Hop Nation have long shown their adept and Big Tings keeps the juice big while dialling everything in to the point of creating one smooth, easy-to-disappear IPA.
