If you missed out on Kirin J. Callinan’s spectacular Big Enough in 2017 then fear not, Banks Brewing have given you the chance to discover the gem. The song and film clip features a a giant and translucent Jimmy Barnes which immediately became a big meme because how could it not? Banks’ Screaming Sky Cowboy takes inspiration from that moment with brewery founder Chris Farmer screaming into a double West Coast IPA packed with Amarillo, Rakau and HBC 586. Together, they ignite a resinous and gripping pine that’s followed by stone fruit, grapefruit skin and a big bitter finish.
Also filled with both hops and feelings is Emotional Range of a Teaspoon, with the Oat Cream IPA filled with Rakau, Citra, Citra Cryo and Sabro. Here the emotions are filled with papaya, mango and tangerine with the malts and lactose offering up a slick, soft and slightly sweet side.
