Bridge Road's regular tins of sour beers are becoming the kind of beer release you can set your calendar to, knowing that when one arrives, you probably better ensure you've flipped over for another month. For September, the fruit given a chance to shine is raspberry and passionfruit, though it's the former of those that really gets the spotlight in Raspberry Sour With Passionfruit.
Even the vibrantly pink appearance lets you know you're on a path led by the berry and it's that fruit that really stirs the ship, while the passionfruit aids the beer's tangy zing. Though that tartness comes to the fore first, with a particularly smooth texture, it's the kind of beer that sits particularly close to the world of raspberry sorbet.
