The Mill Brewery and Doom Juice are natural allies. Sure, both are small businesses dedicated to making delicious drinks but more important than that, they share in a love for metal. Naturally the pair came together to craft a beer and wine hybrid which was launch with accompanying metal tunes and goes by the name of Hellfire Pale.
The beer component is quite a Kiwi affair, having been made with New Zeland malts, Nelson Sauvin hops, and Motueka SubZero Hop Kief before it was introduced to Doom Juice Weiss, a natural wine that uses Vermentino and Gewurztraminer. So while the name and theme might be a little dark, the drink itself is a pure summer joy where flavours akin to ajuicy white wine like stone fruit, pear, passionfruit, guava are joined by citrus and pineapple. In other words, it's quite a juicy pale without any sense of doom at all (except for all the wine of course).
