Sydney Beer Week returns from October 20 to 29, bringing well over 100 diverse events to the city.
Under new ownership – and with the name "Craft" dropped from the title to embrace the wider world of beer – it kicks off with an Opening Gala at the Australian National Maritime Museum on October 20 (for which we've got tickets – see below).
That heralds ten days of parties, dinners, brekkies, brews, showcases, battles, beer and cheese pairings, lawn bowls, three on three basketball, a sea shanty singalong and more. There's a mix of ticketed and free events throughout.
Festival Director Dave Phillips says: “I’m stoked by the amazing efforts from the beer community to make so many great beer experiences available for Sydney Beer Week.
"The hard yards have been put in by brewers, venues, their mates and our own festival team to create an amazing lineup of events for the beer curious as well as those already passionate and knowledgeable about their all things beer.”
