Job Description: Full-time Trainee Brewer
Are you eager to dive into the world of craft beer and start your brewing journey? Wayward Brewing Co is searching for a Trainee Brewer to join our passionate team and contribute to crafting exceptional products.
We're all about brewing great beer (and seltzer!) and sharing it with our community. Nestled in the heart of Sydney's brewing scene, Wayward Brewing Co has been pushing boundaries and delighting palates for years.
As a trainee brewer at Wayward, you'll wear many hats and play a crucial role in our production operations.
Here's a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:
- Brewing: Learn our brewing processes on our 20HL and 4HL systems ensuring each batch is made to brand and with precision.
- Cellar Work: Get hands-on in the cellar where you'll be responsible for centrifuging beers, cleaning tanks and packaging ensuring our products reach our customers in top-notch condition.
- Lab Work: Work in our lab and dive into quality assurance/control and new product development. You'll conduct micro testing, analyze samples and maintain our quality systems to ensure every product meets our high standards.
As a member of the Wayward team, we'll rely on you to approach every task with care and attention to detail. Quality and consistency are at the core of what we do, and we'll count on you to uphold these standards across all aspects of brewing, cellar work and lab operations.
We’re looking for more than brewing chops, we are looking for positive and passionate people who love beer and are keen to work in a team to achieve that together.
Experience isn’t necessary for this role, but it does help. Forklift Licences and First Aid certificates do too!
