Woody and Buzz. Nuts and bolts. Copy and paste. Some things just go together, and so it is with beer and cheese.
To celebrate this enduring combination, on May 4 the crew at Blackman's Brewery in Geelong are bringing back their popular Beer & Cheese Festival where you'll be able to indulge in an array of fermented delights and experiences, from matching to masterclasses to music.
On the cheese front, they've teamed up with the local purveyors with the cheesy conveyor at Splatter. Their cheese guru Jo will be on hand to host masterclasses alongside Blackman's head brewer Matt where you'll get to enjoy four courses of beer and cheese, expertly paired to take you deeeeep into flavour country.
If you'd prefer more of a DIY experience, they'll have a selection of cheese tastings, platters and gourmet picnic boxes which you can put alongside any of the many fine beers on tap.
Entry to the main festivities is free, live music will be playing all day, and it's as family and dog friendly as can be.
