It gets awfully cold in Bright at this time of year, and to balance that chill the town’s eponymous brewers have brewed a tropical treat. Pina Colada IPA brings together the classic cocktail’s combination of pineapple and coconut atop a pillowy and hazy base.
That taste of pineapple more closely resembles drinking a glass of tropical juice over biting into a piece of the fruit and, while the coconut is a little lighter than those fruity overtones, it nicely marries with the beer's underlying sweet, soft and lush nature. Having said that, there's also a touch of pine that serves as a fitting reminder that, though it might be quite like a cocktail, you are still drinking an IPA.
