If you fancy your hops with a bit more hip than usual, this is definitely the beer for you. Not content merely with rock star musical brews, for this collaboration Young Henrys teamed up with Sydney hip hop label Big Village Records. With Big Village dedicated to promoting local hip hop artists and Young Henrys having much the same mindset for the beer, it's easy to understand why they'd decide to join forces. The beer that's been created is based on the idea from the Big Village crew for something reasonably light but which still packed a punch. And what that's translated to is a hoppy wheat beer. Like a good hip hop mash-up, the beer uses bits from everywhere; US hops, Australian malts and a bit of CaraWheat for a bit of sweetness. True to the original idea, it's a fairly light coloured beer but one that definitely bounces towards hops and bitterness rather than the wheat side of things. Appropriately, the beer is making its debut at a massive hip hop party at The Factory Theatre where several Big Village artists will be taking the stage.
