Fuckenthing is Sailors Grave's tribute to their late mate and "unique and beautiful human being" Andrew King – aka @siggletheoomph – that arrives each year in cans featuring four different pieces of artwork. The liquid inside each can – no matter the artwork – is a peach and coffee gose, the latter in homage to Andrew's love of great coffee.
Specifically, it's brewed with yellow peaches and, boy, isn't it yellow: Fuckenthing practically glows in the glass, with wee floaties (in mine at least) reminiscent of when you persuade the kids to try the pulped rather than pulpless OJ. It's bursting with juicy peach meets citrus vibes, the coffee contributing in a green bean perfume manner, and more apparent to taste.
The whole juicy, slightly tangy affair, is a lovely reminder of how well fruit and coffee can work together in such beers. What a tasty fuckenthing.
