Along with their Pilsner, Hazy was the first Slumdog beer to appear on tap and it's gone on to be the most popular pour at the brewery's home ever since. Wheat, rolled oats and an English ale yeast are put to work creating the requisite texture and appearance, while it's all about fruitiness when it comes to the hop selection: Cascade, Citra, Simcoe and the tropical AF Cryopop blend.
It might not be the haziest of hazies, but do you drink a beer for the way it looks in your glass or the joy it brings to your olfactory system? It brings the goods on that front, with heaps of sweet mango, pineapple and citrus aromas that bring to mind the syrup in a tin of fruit slices. A lowered pH ensures that sweetness doesn't carry across to taste – this Hazy has a finish that's lean and cleansing, making it easy to understand why it's Slumdog's best-seller.
