Described as a best coast double IPL (India pale lager), this collaborative, hybrid offering from the minds at Eagle Bay and Rocky Ridge is a cut above when it comes to crystal clear, hop forward lagers.
For the fourth reiteration of this collab between the South West pair, Incognito and Spectrum products (forms of hops designed to give brewers greater efficiency and impact during the brewing process) feature alongside an experimental variety from Freestyle Hops in NZ, nicknamed Peacharine. Ensuring you know this is one hoppy product, Eagle Rock receives a triple dry-hop too, eliciting sticky pine, zesty citrus, sweet stonefruits and some grassy character, all of which are poised elegantly atop a light malt base beer and clean yeast profile.
It's entirely expected that two breweries who are individually brewing some of the best beers in their respective histories would produce something special in unison, and this double IPL sits gracefully within both the lager and hoppy realms.
