The Wolf of the Willows terpene tour continues, with the brewery turning towards beer’s tart side. You can read more about their ongoing experimentation here and here or dive straight into a summer serve of Gelato! (also known as Larry Bird in the world of cannabis strains).
The sour was made with both blood orange and lime puree with the citrus encouraged by our own Galaxy and the beer's sweeter side led on by Sabro. Pouring with a glowing orange body, there’s plenty of that flavour to be found within too, with the citrus a blend between sweet blood orange juice and lime zest. That adding vanilla and Sabro-induced coconut meanwhile feels further encouraged by the beer’s overall creamy body and while it does sounds like an icrecream in a can, the terpenes are certainly playing their part too. Those come in the shape of a defined dankess, light pine, floral and perfumey undertones which comes to think of it, would all make for an excellent addition to any ice cream.
