Inner North Red Sessions

Inner North Brewing’s location on a backstreet that runs off another backstreet makes it a hidden gem where first-timers delight in discovering it and regulars have their names on the furniture (quite literally). But it’s not the only hidden haunt in its part of Brunswick, with The Jazz Lab’s glowing light a subtle indicator that one of Melbourne’s finest live music venues lies within.

Red Sessions is a beer inspired by Inner North's jazzy neighbours and brewed in collaboration with the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, which kicks off on October 20. The red lager pours with a deep red hue and provides jammy notes of berry, toffee, chocolate and a slight nutty side. It may all sound a little rich but they don’t call it Red Sessions for nothing - with a crisp and softly bitter finish, it's more smooth jazz than Whiplash.
