Welcome to Camel Rock Restaurant and Brewery, located near the tight-knit community of Bermagui on the South Coast of NSW! We're a craft beer brewery in the midst of an exciting rebrand, getting ready to unveil our first-ever canned brews and even branching out into crafting spirits. And now, we're on the hunt for an incredible Venue Manager to join our spirited team!

THE ROLE: A PERFECT BLEND OF HOSPITALITY & ADVENTURE

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager who can lead our bar, restaurant, and front-of-house operations with finesse and flair. If you're a true craft beer and food enthusiast, thrive in cultivating growth, and love the idea of joining a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, then this opportunity was crafted just for you!

Our venue is open to the public for a total of 40-45 hours, five days a week. You’ll have the same two dedicated days off during the workweek to unwind, explore our stunning surroundings, and enjoy everything our community has to offer! 

As a crucial part of our team, you'll work closely with our Brewer and Head Chef, ensuring that we consistently meet the high standards our customers have come to expect. From delivering exceptional service to managing inventory, your role will be as refreshing and invigorating as a cold pint of our finest brew! You’ll also have the opportunity to learn hands on experience in how brew beer or distil spirits yourself!

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: THE BREW-MINDED, FOOD-LOVING MAVEN 

The successful candidate will not only possess the necessary skills listed below, but they'll also have an insatiable appetite for learning and growing:

  • Rostering within a budget 
  • Managing COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) 
  • Staff training and development 
  • Hiring and staff performance management 
  • Crafting engaging social media campaigns 
  • Holding an RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) & Responsible Managers License 
  • Reporting weekly and monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Menu costing and development

While experience in event management and live music venue management will be highly valued, we're also open to enthusiastic individuals who are eager to dive into these areas.
