Job Description: Part-Time Content Designer
We’re seeking a creative and passionate individual with a love for craft beer and an eye for captivating design to join the Hop Nation Brewing Co team as a Part-Time Content Designer. This is where your artistic skills will help us showcase our brand and beers (and seltzers, and our soon-to-be renovated taproom). Position Overview
As a Part-Time Content Designer at Hop Nation Brewing Co, you will play a pivotal role in visually representing our brand and beers through engaging and visually stunning content. Your creative contributions will span a variety of platforms, from can design to social media and marketing materials, helping us connect with our audience on a deeper level and driving excitement around our craft beers. The role is based in Footscray with some travel (monthly) to Mornigton. There is also flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our marketing manager to conceptualise and design captivating visual content, including graphics, illustrations, and photography, that reflect the essence of Hop Nation's brand and values.
- Develop visually appealing and engaging social media posts, showcasing our latest beer releases, events, and brewery updates, while capturing the brand personality.
- Create eye-catching packaging designs and labels for our diverse range of craft beers, capturing the essence of each brew and resonating with our target market.
- Assist in the design of marketing collateral, such as posters, flyers, and banners, to promote Hop Nation's events and initiatives.
- Stay current with design trends and techniques, infusing fresh and innovative ideas into our content.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent software.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your creative skills and design versatility.
- Passion for craft beer and a keen understanding of the Australian craft beer industry and culture.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, for example our brew team and wholesale sales team.
- Detail-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
- Previous experience in content design, branding, or marketing is a plus.
