Matso's unique drinks are distributed widely across the country, but their story started out in the tropical paradise that is Broome.
Their brewpub remains the spiritual home of the operation and they're after a head brewer to join them there.
JOB DESCRIPTION: HEAD BREWER

We are seeking a passionate and talented brewer to join our team at Matso's for a unique opportunity to live and work in Broome, Western Australia. As a brewer with us, you will be responsible for creating our staple brews and will have the freedom to experiment and create exciting seasonal offerings, using your creativity and expertise.

You will be given the freedom to develop and refine your craft, while working with a team of like-minded individuals who are passionate about beer & hospitality.
The role will require you to ensure the quality of our beer is always at its highest, you'll need to be comfortable with managing the entire brewing process from start to finish, including recipe development, brewing, fermentation, through to product service. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the brewery's equipment and facilities are kept in good working order.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in brewing (or less with an IBD Diploma qualification). You will be passionate about creating new and exciting beers, be comfortable working independently and be confident in your decision-making abilities.
This is a seasonal role, with six months in Broome from April to September enjoying the beautiful warm weather and all the seasonal activities the region has to offer, the beach, fishing, festivals and stunning landscapes. During the low season we can fly you in every six to eight weeks (from October to March) depending on our volume requirements, leaving you to holiday during the southern summer or take on other gigs.
