Job Description: Sales Executive - East & South-East Melbourne
Temple Brewing Company has been around for a while in Brunswick East and making many great beers winning Gold and Silver Medals at the 2021 AIBA.
While in and out of lockdowns, Temple has been refreshing itself. It has a new look to its labels and the beers are better than ever. As we come out of lockdowns, Temple is ready to grow its reach again and wants to get its beers out across Victoria and nationally.
To achieve our objectives, we are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join its Melbourne team covering the East and Southeast Metropolitan areas of Melbourne and parts of the CBD.
We want someone who is self-driven, self-motivated and hungry to get great results in getting new customers on board for both on-premises and off-premises. It is very competitive out there but the person we are looking for would be fearless and persistent.
A good knowledge of the craft beer industry is preferred but a positive sales focussed attitude and sales experience are must-have requirements. Great communication skills will be an asset. Ideally, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of successful results in a similar role within the craft beer and hospitality industry.
The key duties will include managing existing customers as well as acquiring new customers for packaged beer as well as new taps in the allocated areas. Other duties include conducting tastings and attending festivals and events where Temple Brewing is involved in. A motor vehicle driver’s licence is required as a lot of the time will be spent out at customers’ premises.
As a customer-focussed role, excellent communication skills and customer service mentality are key attributes of this role. Our CRM system will be the supporting tool to manage customer engagement and management.
The person we seek must be able to work autonomously while focussing on getting the results. The role is not about the working hours but more about what results are achieved. This is not a 9-5 role. It is to be available to meet the customers when the customer is available. Targets will be set for sales volumes for both on- and off-premises customers, weekly, monthly and quarterly.
This role reports to the National Sales Manager but is part of the Temple family where every member contributes to the success of the company. Innovative thinking which helps to expand our business is part of our culture.
