Perth will once again transform into Froth Town as the beer festival formerly known as the Perth Craft Beer Festival returns to the Claremont Showgrounds in 2021.
After debuting under its new moniker in August 2020 – the first post-COVID beer festival in Australia – the first 2021 event takes place from April 16 to 18 and promises to feature yet another genuine cavalcade of awesomeness.
You'll rightly start by sipping your way through your pick of more than 100 breweries (full list at the bottom of this page), with a selection that includes the Froth Town Brewer Exclusives, chosen by former Feral head brewer, chief judge and all-round moustachio man Will Irving. He's picked out some rarities and beauties from some of his favourite breweries in Australia, New Zealand and the US – scroll down for the full glory.
Then, arguably, the action that makes Froth Town stand out from the crowd begins as you take a wander around the grounds and indulge in stuff like *holds breath*... silent disco, Pirate Life tattoo parlour, a barber shop, dodgems, carnival games, giant beer pong, bucking bull, hot dog eating comp, "Dad Bod' wet t-shirt" comp, sumo wrestling, live footy, Feral Biggie Bar, Dodgeball, "Hold My Beer" obstacle course, cocktail lounge, gin & tonic house, seltzer garden, and two massive German-style bier halls.
If you can't find something to entertain you in that lot, all hope may well be lost!
There'll be four seperate sessions across the weekend (with Sunday designated as family day and filled with appropriate entertainment), so lock in a sesh, then just sit back and start counting down the days.
