Williamstown Heritage Beer & Cider Festival 2018 (VIC)

The historic waterfront suburb of Williamstown is well worth a visit at any time.

But, if you're into good beer, then you've got even more reason to head over on November 17.

That's when the Williamstown Heritage Beer & Cider Festival – or Willy Beer Fest as it's become known over the years – returns with a lineup of independent Aussie brewers alongside a few cider makers, live music, entertainment and a BBQ Cook Off.

Participating brewers include Thunder Road, Two Birds, Three Greens, Bonehead, Holgate and Sow & Piglets – check out the full lineup here – and 100-plus beers and ciders on offer on the day.

One of the oldest suburbs in Melbourne has a long and colourful history when it comes to pubs and local beer and, since its inception by the former owner of the Steam Packet Inn in 2013, the Willy Beer Fest has been playing a role in bringing local brewers back.

The 2018 festival takes place on the water's edge at the historic Seaworks Precinct from midday to 7pm.

Tickets start from $35pp for entry (unless you're quick and grab early bird tickets) and there are other packages including drinks tokens too.

We've also got a stack of double passes to give away to new and existing members of The Crafty Cabal, our beer lovers bonus scheme (see below).
