Back when it was first released, there weren't too many microbreweries in Australia brewing a light beer. Now, there are plenty that, at the very least, have a mid-strength in their arsenal, while plenty have been working on creating low ABV beers with enough character to satisfy the crafty-minded designated driver.
Prickly Moses' Otway Light is a beer they say sets out to display "all the malted barley flavours and characters of a rich, full bodied, full strength beer" but at sub-3 percent ABV.
