After five-and-a-half years of making different variations of hazies every week, Range have made a hazy IPA that’s available year round. And it's called Dreams. As part of their Forever range – which it joins at the same time as Sunshine, I like to think Dreams is five-and-a-half years of hazy experience all gathered and condensed into one beer. Like it’s made of osmium or something.*
But it’s just made of normal beer ingredients – malt and US and NZ hops, and all that jazz – even if your imagination tells you there’s other, less tangible stuff in there. A misty morning with the golden sunlight filtering through the thick air. Carbonation that begins with an excited dance, but quickly shifts to a soft wash across the tongue. A touch of ripe apricot and a squeeze of fresh orange juice, topped with an orange twist that releases its aromatic oils across the surface.**

*Osmium is the densest element. Yes I had to Google that.
**Yes, instead of saying "juice plus peel" I probably could have just said "whole orange", but that’s not nearly as visually immersive, is it? Remember how I mentioned "imagination"?
