There we were thinking we'd not done much in the way of new things over the past fortnight for Crafty Pint supporters who've signed up to The Crafty Cabal, only to start writing this update and realise there was plenty to unveil.
So let's get to it...
WA, We're Coming For You!
To date, our WA based supporters have only had the ongoing state-based offers – such as Feral's free filled growler, The DTC's discounted Double Dutch Rudder and two-for-one tasting paddles, various discounts, beer deals and nationwide offers like those from Hops To Home – to sustain them. But, fear not, as we're a-coming!
We're lining up a series of giveaways, events and goodies for Cabalistas when WA Beer Week rolls around. First up is a giveaway for the Freo BeerFest on the opening weekend. And it looks like this:
- Five new signup bonuses featuring a $60 all weekend pass and a t-shirt for the first five new members with a WA postcode after today's date.
- Ten day passes for the first ten existing members to request one via their member's area.
There's plenty more to come for WA Beer Week so watch this space!
Monthly Prize Draw
We've picked the winner from September's main monthly prize draw and it's going to Darnley Small, AKA Cabalista CCIX. That prize pack is made up of:
- Four cases of Gage Roads beer, including Champion Australian Beer Little Dove
- A Gage Roads t-shirt
- A Gage Roads bottle opener
The ballot is now open for October's draw, which comes from Stockade Brew Co. And they want to share the love around so there will be three winners this time. Each will receive:
- A case of either Wanderer Märzen, 8 Bit IPA or Rare Ink Session Stout
- A matching bottle opener
- A Stockade cap
We'll pick the winners at the end of the month. Also, congrats to the 11 Cabalistas and their mates off to Cutty Cellars Craft-Oberfest tomorrow armed with tasting tokens. If you entered the ballot, make sure you check your inbox to see if you made it and for instructions on how to collect your tokens.
New Offers
Some new offers to check out that have gone live in the past fortnight. They are:
- QLD: Head to Burleigh Brewing anytime this month and they'll give you a free schooner at the bar when you fill your growler.
- QLD: Brewski Bar has a cracker for Cabalistas: two-for-one schooners each and every week. Yes, a week after you redeem the offer, you can go back and do it all again.
- VIC: The Windsor Alehouse is a newcomer in the burgeoning craft beer scene south of the Yarra and is offering two-for-one tasting paddles. You can redeem this offer once a month.
Aside from that, at time of writing there was just one spot left for the VIP Package at the Brewers Feast later this month so get in quick if you're planning to be there. And look out for news on what we're lining up for Pint of Origin: The Schooner Edition when it comes to Sydney Craft Beer Week later in the month.
