Job Description 1 – Head Chef
The Head Chef is responsible for all areas of kitchen operations, including managing food costs, labour costs & OHS. Effective rostering and mentoring staff in order to get the best out of a small kitchen team is essential. Any applicant must be professional, fair and fun to work with.
You must be:
⢠hands on ⢠good at communicating ⢠able to work to a fast paced (or slow paced) environment ⢠good at financial and operational management, including budgeting and monitoring of costs and wastage
You must have:
⢠5+ years senior kitchen experience ⢠great food ideas, food flavours & food presentation ⢠the ability to design & implement seasonal – cost effective menus, influenced by regional produce and beer (of course!) ⢠demonstrated stability and length of tenure in previous positions

Job Description 2 – Front of House Manager
Our Front of House Manager will be responsible for directing a small front of house team which grows with seasonality and peak events. This is a hands on role, so you will need experience in coffee making, bar tending, cellar management & floor work. You’ll also need experience in cost effective rostering, ordering & stock control.
The role requires a person who can lead and promote a vibrant and exciting working environment.
You must have:
- +2 years plus experience working in a similar role
- Ability to work weekends and holiday periods
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- A current RSA certificate
