Sydney's inner west is already packed full of local breweries and is set to welcome a new cidery to the area too. If you want to join the operation from its early days, the team is looking to hire a head cidermaker.
Job Description: Head Cidermaker
We’re on the hunt for a gun cidermaker who is looking to make their mark on the Australian craft cider scene.
We are a brand new cidery, born in Sydney’s inner west, and we need a passionate, innovative and uncompromising Head Cidermaker to join the team. We’re not looking for an employee. We’re looking for a partner who can help us build and grow our product.
You will be in charge of all cidermaking operations and responsible for crafting our flagship recipes. You will oversee quality control and ensure all product is consistent and downright delicious.
Ideally, you should:
- Have either professional experience making commercial cider or have a proven track record developing your own cider recipes
- Have good knowledge of both traditional and modern cider making methods
- Have a keen interest in both local and international cider products and cidermakers
- Be ready to step up and push us from startup to leader
Reimbursement via contract batchmaking, salary and company equity can be discussed.
The most qualified candidate will live in Sydney but we’re open to anyone who is interested in relocating (within Australia only, no visas available).
