Noble Boy is a brewing company formed at one of Melbourne's classic pubs, the Napier in Fitzroy. It launched with a pale ale sold on tap and in cans with a focus on the city's inner north. Now the mates behind the operation are looking to get it into more hands and are hiring their first sales rep.

JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES REP (MELBOURNE)

Noble Boy, born over the front bar at the Napier Hotel in Fitzroy some time around March, has quickly gone on to become a local favourite around Melbourne’s north.

We feel the time has come to share ourselves with the rest of Melbourne – and hopefully beyond. We’re looking for a sales rep to help us get to that next level, by hitting the road and getting our beer in the hands of as many people as possible, both on and off premise.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is as into good beer as we are. That doesn’t rule out many people, so please read on.
  • Knows the beer industry well, isn’t afraid to knock on doors and pick up the phone. Proven sales experience is a skill we value highly, and one that’s crucial to this role. You’ll be required to work with the team to formulate sales strategy as well as execute. We want someone to nurture our existing customer base, popping in frequently to make sure they’re taken care of as best possible, while also developing a new customer base. This can and will include some customer training on the product.
  • We will work together to set realistic and achievable sales targets, and you will be fully supported in your quest to achieve these targets, and rewarded with healthy commissions.
  • A character that’s down to earth and likeable. For obvious reasons. Charisma and personality are the most important factors for the successful applicant. Our workplace is a lot of fun, so we want someone who can come in add to this.

We’re also all about engaging positively with our local community, we’ve teamed up with some like minded businesses, supported some great charities in the past few months and look to do a lot more of this in the coming months. The successful applicant will ideally want to get right amongst this and help out where required.

We do require that the applicant has a current driver’s licence and Victorian RSA certificate. We can guarantee a competitive salary as well as individual bonus structure and car and phone allowances. The hours are very flexible, minimum 3 days, possibly 5, some nights, some weekends. We’ll have a conversation and come up with some hours for you that work for us both.

If you think this sounds like a role you’d like to challenge yourself with, please send through a resume as well as some information about yourself to hello@nobleboy.com.

Applications close February 10, 2018.
