JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWERY AMBASSADORS
Matso's Broome Brewery is the Kimberley’s award-winning microbrewery and a true Broome treasure. We are looking to expand our family owned and managed business into the Queensland, Victorian and Western Australian markets and require three enthusiastic Brewery Ambassadors to commence work immediately.
We envisage the successful applicant will begin with us immediately with remuneration being based on skills and experience you’ll be supplied with a company car, phone & laptop.
You’ll need to...
- Chase new business to help growth.
- Maintain our existing client base.
- Understand the brand and help build it by getting it in front of the right people.
- Paint the town Matso’s – in-venue visibility and awareness of product and brand is key.
- Get product into punter’s hands.
- Help strategically set-up the market to provide a building block for the future.
So, you must…
- Be passionate about beer (particularly ours!) – part of the role is to educate and get trade and punters stoked on our products and brand.
- Know the industry – the more you know about how things work in our industry the better your chance of being set up for success.
- Know the local market – Having an intimate knowledge of what makes things tick is crucial.
- Understand the role. Previous sales experience is essential.
- Become a familiar face that our trade loves to see walk through the door. We’re looking for a friendly, down-to-earth operator.
- Be keen as mustard. In addition to the typical sales role you'll be expected to socialise with punters, attend tastings and help us activate the odd event/party etc.
- Have a valid driver's licence.
