Any brewers out there looking for a new job for the new year? Melbourne based Two Birds Brewing is on the hunt for a new brewer to join the team at The Nest. If you've got at least 12 months behind you at a commercial brewer, here's what you need to know.
JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER
Our brewery in Spotswood, Victoria continues to grow, so we’re in search of a brewer to help us meet our production requirements.
The role covers all aspects of brewery operations, including brewhouse and cellar operations, CIP, kegging, packaging, lab analysis and warehousing.
Potential candidates should have:
- A focus on safety and safe work practices;
- A passion for beer, brewing and production, with a quality-focused mindset and an emphasis on consistency; and
- Be able to work a range of shifts, as the production schedule requires.
- Candidates MUST have at least 12 months experience working in a commercial brewery.
The following would also be viewed favourably:
- Proven experience in packaging line operation;
- Relevant brewing qualifications, or current enrolment in such programs;
- Current forklift licence; and
- Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
