Odyssey Tavern & Brewery is a venue that helped pave the way for craft beer in the Surf Coast region of Victoria. It's now also home to Odyssey Craft Brewing's beers and the owners are on the hunt for a venue manager to join and lead the team there.
JOB DESCRIPTION: VENUE MANAGER
We are on the hunt for a passionate craft brewery Venue Manager to join the Odyssey Team.
Build on the brewery bar and restaurant’s outstanding reputation and to grow it to full potential. We are one of Victoria’s leading craft brewery venues and one of the most popular venues in our region.
Odyssey Tavern & Brewery produces local, high quality craft beer, food and experiences. We provide a holistic brewery experience and service excellence to our customers.
We are looking for experienced, dynamic, can-do leader to join our team. The successful applicant must be able to manage all aspects of a busy venue from the front of house to the kitchen, functions & events. You will be committed to exceeding customer’s expectations while being commercially focused to manage costs and deliver target margins. If you are highly organised, dependable & an outstanding leader, then you are the person for us.
As the Manager in this unique venue, your main responsibility will be ensuring the smooth running of all bar, front of house & staffing operations. This includes maintaining a positive & welcoming vibe at all times to ensure customers always feel welcome.
Ideally the successful applicant will have:
- A dynamic & enthusiastic personality,
- Previous experience managing a venue,(including stock control, legislation, & staff rosters),
- Excellent craft beer knowledge,
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service,
- The ability to manage, train & mentor staff
- The ability to manage stock, rotations& levels
- A passion for driving functions is an added bonus,
