JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES REP (QLD/NSW)
Newstead Brewing Co is in its fourth year of operation and, while still independent and 100% Queensland family owned, we’re now operating out of two locations in Brisbane. Our original brewpub in Newstead will always be our spiritual home whilst our shiny new 50hL facility in Milton will very shortly become our production brewery.
Our brewing capacity has expanded somewhat…now so must our team. It’s an exciting time for us.
We’re searching for a focused, self-motivated, craft beer-passionate sales professional to hit the road with us. There’s an immediate start beckoning.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a region within the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. Both on and off premise accounts will be managed while maintaining and building existing customer relationships as well as acquiring new business for continued growth.
The position we’re looking to fill requires a down-to-earth yet ambitious attitude. The right person will come on board with a strong and dynamic work ethic plus the ability to work autonomously. This role is integral to being part of our dedicated sales team.
Job Requirements:
- A strong and proven sales background
- A passion for and knowledge of Australian craft beer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A team player
- A self starter
- Highly motivated
- Flexibility in working hours (inc. off-site events such as tastings and festivals)
- A desire to grow and expose the Newstead Brewing Co brand
- Valid QLD drivers licence and motor vehicle
- Basic ability with a surf board
