Job Description: Sales Manager

A role exists in our business for someone who possesses a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, exacting standards and a love of beer to work in our team and take our business forward. The Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing close, friendly and mutually beneficial relationships with our awesome customers - pubs, clubs and bottleshops galore! The role is focussed on the South Coast of NSW and will involve extensive travel.
The Role
Key responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining excellent relationships with our existing customer base via phone, email and in-person contact
- Growing our sales footprint by by bringing on new customers and exploring new opportunities
- Working closely with others to set strategies and objectives
- Be flexible to work outside ‘normal hours’ for things such as tastings and events
- Timely reporting of sales data
- Inventory and stock management
- Deliveries
- Delivering business strategic objectives
The successful candidate for the role will ideally possess deep experience of the beer industry and sales, and will:
- Be highly organised; skilled in time management and keep excellent records
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Be meticulous about customer service
- Possess a warm and friendly personality and be willing to engage with the public
- Share our passion to maximise the sustainability of our business operations
- Assist in delivering the strategic objectives of the business
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety
- Be willing to learn and share knowledge and be part of a team
- Possess intermediate computer skills
- Possess a current drivers license and be willing to travel and be trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Be willing to occasionally work outside normal hours
