Good news: Bondi's Curly Lewis are hiring a junior brewer to join them on a part-time basis.
Job Description: Part-time Junior Brewer
Curly Lewis are looking for a part-time Junior Brewer to join the team. Based on Bondi Beach, you will be an experienced home brewer or studying brewing at TAFE/Uni and looking to make the jump from your boring job into one of beer.
You will report directly to head brewer Zac Pauling with a minimum of three days of work each week with extra days as required.
This is a job that will start with the basic tasks and where you will be trained through all operations. Also involved will be assisting with stock movements and deliveries, so a driver's license is a must.
About the Company
After a few years in planning, Curly Lewis has been brewing onsite for 18 months and kicking some major goals. We brew, keg and can onsite for sales in our backyard to our thirsty locals. We actively support a few local charities based around something important to the company, the surf and our community.
About you
The successful applicant must have the drive to do both the pretty and ugly jobs, be hands-on, practical and be able to work in a small close team. Adding to this;
- A solid home brewing or entry-level brewing experience
- A driver's license (no license, no banana)
- Good communication skills and mechanical aptitude
- Studying brewing or looking to study and improve your brewing skills
- Flexibility in your time – days can move with the brew schedule and extra days if needed – don’t worry we are organised and will let you know in advance
