This is a rare opportunity to come and join our award-winning beer brand Blasta Brewing Company, initially based in Burswood, Perth, Western Australia.

While you are doing this we will offer the Cicerone® certified beer training programme where you will further enhance your expertise in the field of beer.
Job tasks and responsibilities
As a Blasta brewer your primary responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Wort production & dry hopping
- CIP procedures
- Beer and wort lab analysis
- Mentoring junior team members
- Cleaning
- Kegging & Packaging (cans)
- Filtration
- Documentation
- Representing Blasta at beer functions and events
Skills and experience
The following attributes will be an advantage:
- Minimum of 3 years as a professional brewer
- A passion for brewing
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Proactive & positive attitude
- Confidence in decision making and accountability
- A focus on quality and consistency
- Self-motivated team player
- Strong learning and problem solving ability
- Computer literacy and detailed record keeping ability
- Understanding of key quality parameters required to produce first class beer
- Ability to work quickly and effectively whilst maintaining extremely high standards
- Capable of conducting quality checks & records
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent work ethic and be willing to continuously get your hands dirty
- Highly self motivated and passionate
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and enhance other brewery staff
