Job Description: Sales Rep
Pail & Cooper are a young, dynamic and supportive business, who are passionate about growing the independent craft beer market through connecting independent craft brewers and retailers. We are the Victorian distributor for:
- Capital Brewing Co. – Creating ‘Good Natured Brews’ out of Canberra including 6 beers in GABS Hottest 100;
- Fury & Son – Family-owned brewery in Keilor, VIC;
- Two Bays Brewing Co. – Australia’s first dedicated gluten free Brewery and Taproom based in Dromana, VIC.
- Batch Brewing Co. – Sydney based craft brewery specialising in nitro and sours;
- Sobah – Australia’s first non-alcoholic craft brewery which is 100% Aboriginal owned and led.
- Darraweit Valley Cider – Craft cider based in the Macedon Ranges with a hopped cider, oaked cider and apple & pear blend.
We are currently looking for a craft beer sales professional to help us accelerate our growth in the re-opening on-premise market in and around Melbourne. Our portfolio also includes a range of boutique Australian wineries which offers additional sales opportunities for you within your territory.
Responsibilities:
- Grow existing relationships in on-premise and independent craft-beer specialist retail
- Open and develop new accounts in on-premise and independent retail
- Run weekly in-store tastings (when COVID restrictions allow)
- Increase brand awareness through in-venue and in-store activations
- Run staff training sessions.
Attributes:
- You must have strong existing relationships in Melbourne venues through a similar role, either current or recent (applications without this experience will not get a response)
- You must be able to work autonomously and proactively with the ability to create an effective journey plan
- You must demonstrate great passion and knowledge for craft beer
- You must be highly motivated and resilient
- Knowledge of and/or experience in wine sales would be beneficial but not essential
