Bigger doesn't always mean better. Case in point is The Oak Barrel's annual Craft Beer and Cider Fair.
2017 represents the sixth edition of the mini-festival held out the back of the Sydney CBD bottleshop and this year it's sticking to the same formula that's been a winning one for the previous five editions: grab a glass and spend three hours working your way through more than 150 local beers (plus some cider and mead) from 22 small producers, as follows:

There are two sessions during the day, the first one from 12pm-3pm and the second from 4pm-7pm. Tickets are $55 (or $45 for OB members) which gets you as much sipping and sampling as you desire, as well as a $10 food voucher for the Oak Barrel canteen.
This event sells out every year, and usually well in advance, so you'd best get in promptly if you're keen. Make your bookings through the festival website.
