With their Saturday afternoon Beer Club riding high – last month pulled in the biggest crowd to date – the Empire Hotel is putting on a southern Sydney showdown for its next showcase event.
It will feature Shark Island and Hairyman, each of which will be bringing four beers for you to sample while they share the tales and travails of setting up shop in The Shire.
Tickets are $25 which gets you the eight beers, some nibbles and giveaways. Spots can be booked over the bar, though there's usually no need for advance bookings as walk-ins are welcome – although if you're bringing a group you'll probably want to reserve a table (ph 95571701).
