Since launching in 2012, the Ballarat Beer Festival has been a summer highlight for thousands of Victorian beer lovers.
Each year, it has combined dozens of brewers pouring more than 100 beers alongside cider producers, wineries and local food stalls with live music, kids entertainment, masterclasses and more.
It's proven a heady mix – one that's been blessed with good weather from the off – with the main stage graced by the likes of You Am I in the past.
Recent additions have included the Brewcage, a VIP area offering guests an extensive pairing lunch, and the Beer Train bringing guests to what the organisers have termed "Beerllarat" from Melbourne and further afield.
It returns to the City Oval for a sixth time on January 21, 2017, with another big lineup of brewers, Dallas Crane and the Blues Brothers among the acts and a Friday Night Degustation Dinner sponsored by Bintani taking place at The Forge the night before.
General Admission tickets for adults start at $49pp, with kids under 15 getting in free.
There are also various special packages available, including family passes and those that include entry to The Brewcage.
