You could make a reasonable argument for Autumn being the best season for eating. All the colours and rhythms are changing. The fields and orchards are bulging. There's still enough warmth in the air for lighter fare, but that touch of cool means no one will begrudge you dusting off the slow-cooker. And that's even not to mention Autumnal beers...
Suffice to say this is all excellent news if you're anywhere near King River Brewing as they're preparing to host an Autumn edition of their Crafted Harvest series of beer dinners.
Join them at the brewery on April 13 where head brewer Nathan and head chef Dylan will serve up a five course feast produced with, and inspired by, top local and seasonal produce, all paired appropriately to five King River beers. It's all intended to be a little bit fancy, yet super relaxed, and entirely delicious.
