Waaaay back in 2018, a collaboration between Jeffrey Stuffings of the beloved US wild beer pioneers Jester King and Australia's own saison legends La Sirène was conjured into being from a north/south hop blend and 100 percent spontaneous fermentation.
Some six years (and a move from Alphington to Reservoir) later, the beer, Coolship with Jeff, is finally ready.
On February 28 at Bar La Sirène, a lucky few will get the first opportunity to try this very, very exclusive and very, very limited edition beer. Here's what a ticket to the launch event gets you:
- 150ml pour of Coolship with Jeff
- 2 x 150ml pours of select vintage La Sirène magnums and museum Coolship and Wild Ale bottles
- 150ml pour of a vintage Jester King beer
- Appetisers on arrival
- PLUS! A late addition to the night: Jeff will be joining the event from Austin via Zoom
Bottles of Coolship with Jeff will be available to purchase on the evening, with a maximum of three bottles per person.
