World Ocean Day with Jervis Bay Brewing

World Ocean Day with Jervis Bay Brewing

Given their home is synonymous with idyllic scenery featuring pristine blue water, it makes an awful lot of sense that Jervis Bay Brewing would be a touch concerned about the depressingly sad plight of oceans in general. So, they're doing what they can to make a difference in their part of the world, and they'd love to have you, your mates and everyone you know along for the ride to do something positive too.

Thus, in celebration of this World Ocean Day (June 8), they've partnered with renowned ocean photographer and Jervis Bay local, Jordan Robins, to raise some awareness about ocean conservation.

They've brewed a new Pacific Ale which you'll see wrapped in one of Jordan's striking images, and the profits from the sale of this beer will be funnelled to the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS).

They're also teaming up with locals Jervis Bay Mussels, Phycohealth and the chefs at 5 Little Pigs for a local-focused World Ocean Day dinner on June 6. They'll have a taste of some local seafood (Sri Lankan fish curry, anyone?), but if you'd like to go full conservation mode they'll have vege/vegan options too. Profits of that event will also go to AMCS.

The evening will also feature live music, raffles and even a round or two of ocean-themed trivia.
