The Ballarat Beer Festival is making a most welcome return to the city and its North Gardens on February 18, 2023.

The much-loved regional festival will celebrate its twelfth edition with a typically impressive range of local producers and entertainment. And, once again, the day will feature nothing but independent Aussie brewers. (See below for full lineup of producers)

If you're one of the thousands in attendance, you'll be able to take your pick of more than 150 different beers from across the land (not to mention the odd award-winning wine, G&T slushie, pitcher of sangria, or non-alc option). 

There will also be beer education classes, blind tastings, trivia games, the ever-popular brewers' sack race and plenty more to keep you entertained.

A top-notch lineup of local bands will be providing the soundtrack, headlined by alt-rock legends Dallas Crane, filling the north side of the grounds with good vibes and supported by Spoonful and Kelly Auty.

Meanwhile, you can pair your beers with the offerings from a diverse array of street food stalls and food trucks scattered around the grounds. 

It's a family- and doggo-friendly event with plenty of shade, water and kids activities under the trees and around the lake.
