Quite unbelievably, it's been ten whole years since Jason Harris and Craig Basford turned their backyard brewing hobby into Big Shed Brewing Concern. And what a marvellous local success story it's been!
Given the magnitude of the occasion, the SA legends will be hosting a three-day birthday celebration from October 21 to 23 with mountains of beer, food, music and good, good times.
It kicks off on Friday night with the launch of two flamboyant new limited release beers: a raspberry oat cream "birthday cake" pale ale, and a smoked pineapple and jalapeño fruited sour beer cocktail made in collaboration with Doctors Order's. You'll be able to wash that down with delicious food and live music.
On the Saturday, music comes fully to the fore with 90s pop-punk faves Bodyjar taking to the stage, supported by local acts Lickity Split and LOLA, plus Sydney foursome Mole Men.
Sunday has been designated Market Day, and will feature a host of the brewery's long-time supporters, including the likes of Underground Records, Crackle + Pop Records, Offbeat Sock Co, Black Match Candles and more.
The venue will be open from midday each day, so head along and say: "Happy Birthday!".
