Being seven feet tall can lead to a whole array of height-related nicknames, which in the case of SixTwelve Brewing has made for some fun beer names, with the Adelaide brewery's lower ABV beers referencing those with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Case in point: Little Fella, a German style pilsner that registers at a sessionable 4.5 percent ABV. It's a favourite at their taphouse and one of their biggest sellers.
Little Fella’s characteristics are quite typical of the style, with cleanliness, crispness and dryness a standout. It takes on a light straw colour with a few yeasty esters on the nose alongside some honey, biscuit, and a few subtle herbal notes. It's light on the palate, aiding drinkability, as the biscuity malts meet a light toast interwoven with earthy herbal flavours and bit of spice.
