When Jase Andrews – a Sunny Coast local – fell in love with Brouhaha’s mid-strength pale ale, he said: "I’ve gotta have more of this." But when you’ve got to film another season of your four-wheel drive and adventure show, the best way to enjoy beer is surely to take it along for the ride. So Brouhaha decided to hitch a ride too.
The result is 4B Session Ale, created by Brouhaha with Channel 10’s All 4 Adventure. The brew crew made some tweaks to their Coastal Mid after chatting with Jase and ended up with a beer that’s no backseat driver: it knows how to sit back and enjoy the ride.
4B captures the light grain character and touch of citrusy hops that Coastal Mid does so well, while dialling down the bitterness to make it even more approachable. The pale haze reminds you of the morning sun, and the 3.5 percent ABV is suited to those keen to stay fresh and ready for an early wake-up, ready to hit the tracks.
You should never drink and drive, but there’s nothing wrong with a few drinks after a hard day’s driving.
